TULSA, Okla. — The Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary held its 73rd annual Christmas Luncheon and Fashion Show at the Renaissance Tulsa Hotel on Tuesday.

The annual eventbenefitedThe Salvation Army and its dedication to serving the Tulsa community.
“Every year — this is our 73rd year — we do this Christmas luncheon and fashion show,” said Tiffany Egdorf, Chair for The Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary Christmas Luncheon and Fashion Show. “The Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary puts thison,and we supplement and help raise funds for programs that The Salvation Army and the Tulsa areadoesall year round.”
The event included a Christmas lunch, a silent auction, door prizes, and of course — the fashion show.
Local stars took to the stage to model holiday fashions from local designer and boutique Nelsons Clothier. Several familiar FOX23 faces were in attendance.
FOX23 Evening Anchor Shae Rozzi was the emcee and FOX23 Morning Anchor Michelle Linn, FOX23 Certified Meteorologist Mike Grogan, andFOX23Paris Rain all strutted down the runway as models.

“This is a really big deal; not only is it fun,itgets people together…,” said Egdorf. “[The event] grows every year.”
All the proceeds from Tuesday’s event will directly support The Salvation Army’s programs, some of which include After School andSummerPrograms for school-age kids, Christmas Assistance for over 2,00 families, emergency shelter, food services and more.
“Our mission is to helpfolks,and we dothata number of ways: through the Angel Tree, through the Boys and Girls Club(s), through different programming,” said Egdorf. “We help with the Center of Hope, we help with…local outreach…in the Tulsa community.”
