Silhouettes this season took on a soft power, with feminine draping, ruffles, and layers of chiffon. Jonathan Anderson’s light-as-air floral fabrics were transformed into bouncing hoop skirts made of crinoline. Demure? For sure—albeit in a slightly subverted way at Prada and Balenciaga in the form of Peter Pan collar coats with colored tights, bow-tie blouse dresses open in the back and tied with laces.
