Best Memorial Day patio furniture deals
Sometimes, all it takes to pull your patio ‘look’ together is a few smaller pieces, like a lovely new outdoor rug or a side table for drinks and a portable lamp. I love this striped ottoman by Shea McGee that can be used as a seat, footstool, or side table.
Gymax Set of 2 Rattan Patio Lounge Chair
I’m snapping up this set of two loungers from Walmart to truly make the most of the early summer sun. Not only can you save $229, but they’re such a good buy – made from weather-resistant PE rattan, with 6 adjustable positions and a cute lumbar pillow for style.
Bar Cart On Wheels Made Of Durable Wood-Look Resin
I can’t think of a better purchase for the holiday weekend than this outdoor bar cart that comes with its own ice bucket compartment for chilled drinks all day long. It is also super weather-proof, easy to assemble, and chic.
Britanna Patio Loveseat Arm Chair Light Brown
I personally think there is nothing chicer than a little rattan loveseat. Whether you grab this for a small backyard or balcony garden, or to carve out a spot for two in a larger space, this stylish seat is made from weather and rust-resistant steel for lasting use. Plus, the matching Oversized Patio Ottoman is down to just $140.
If you’re dreaming of a Nancy Meyers aesthetic coastal garden makeover this summer, Serena & Lily is the place to be. This charming table is made with a weather-friendly finish and has a sleek glass top which is perfect for hosting.
Costway 5-Piece Patio Rattan Conversation Set
Saving you $359, this brilliant 5-piece set is designed with extra-thick padded cushions and is super versatile, thanks to its modular design that allows you to customize the sectional to suit your patio size and style. Everything is fade and sun-protected, with a robust tempered glass tabletop too.
Allurine HIPS Plastic Oversize Adirondack Chair
Adirondack chairs are a much-loved garden staple, but quality can come at a cost unless you’re shopping the Memorial Day sales. They claim to withstand wind, rain, salt spray, and even snow thanks to the vast quality testing, are easy to maintain and clean, and super comfortable to boot.
Tarren 5 Piece Outdoor Dining Set
With a saving of almost $200, this compact 5-piece dining set is remarkably good value. Designed to look sleek and stylish with a modern, minimalist color palette, it has been finished with all-weather rope to add comfort and detail.
Mica Acacia Premium All-Weather Wicker Outdoor Lounge Chair (Set of 2)
This set of two premium acacia wood tub chairs is currently sitting in Wayfair’s ‘Doorbuster Deals’ section, meaning they’re among the best patio deals on site. With 33% off, it makes them about $165 per chair, which is a steal for such a high-quality piece of furniture.
When is the best time to buy patio furniture?
Of course, the best time to buy patio furniture is whenever you’re in the market for some new garden patio ideas. Sure, you can get some better deals at better times of the year (as I’ll outline below), but if you’re sick and tired of your old sets and are looking to invest ahead of summer, don’t wait.
But if you’re looking to invest in high-quality yet chic patio furniture without paying full price, timing is everything. Based on my personal shopping experience and insider knowledge as a shopping editor, I can confidently say that typically the best time to buy garden furniture is at the end of summer or during the off-season.
This would be from late August through to October, when retailers begin to clear out their inventory to make room for fall and holiday collections. I know that you’re probably thinking about making some outdoor upgrades now for spring and early summer, but the deepest discounts usually hit once the season is winding down. So, if you’re flexible with your timeline, you can get high-end looks for a fraction of the cost.
When does patio furniture go on sale?
Naturally, this differs from brand to brand, but typically patio furniture deals start cropping up in early spring and peak during late summer and the fall. You can expect most big retailers to follow a fairly predictable sale calendar, and from my own experience, I’ve seen great sales starting as early as March or April for some early-bird promotions.
While I can’t tell you exactly when to replace your outdoor furniture, as mentioned above, the biggest price drops tend to happen in the off-seasons, so if you’re happy to wait this summer out and get ahead for summer 2026, I’d recommend checking out the sales from August onwards.
That said, savvy shoppers will also know that we have some major holiday sale moments coming up like Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Labor Day.
What brands have the best patio furniture deals?
When it comes to finding high-quality garden furniture at a great price, it pays to do your research on which brands offer the best value for money in terms of design and durability. I’ve learned from personal experience that the best patio furniture isn’t often the one with the lowest price.
You want to focus on finding well-constructed, weather-resistant pieces that look good and last multiple seasons. Fortunately, several brands strike that balance perfectly, offering stylish outdoor collections with smart seasonal sales and promotions throughout the year.
We all know that you will find great quality at the likes of Pottery Barn, West Elm, and Crate & Barrel, but some shoppers might prefer keeping an eye on Anthropologie, Serena & Lily, and Lulu and Georgia for more trend-led styles. Target’s Threshold designed w/Studio McGee and Hearth & Hand with Magnolia lines, are excellent for smaller budgets or spaces, often combining designer-approved silhouettes with surprisingly durable finishes – and they regularly go on sale during major seasonal events.
You should also keep an eye out for brand-specific dates, such as the Way Day sale, where you can get some of the best Wayfair outdoor sale finds. And we can’t forget Amazon Prime Day too. Additionally, certain retailers frequently offer promotions or bundle discounts, so keep your favorite brand bookmarked to find out when they’re having exclusive online sales. And my final top tip is to make sure you’re signed up to mailing lists to get early access or info on sale events.
What is the biggest patio furniture sale day of the year?
While patio furniture goes on sale multiple times throughout the year, and sure, Memorial Day and Fourth of July bring solid deals, the biggest sale day for outdoor furniture is typically Labor Day. Falling in early September, it marks the end of summer – and with that, retailers offer some of the steepest discounts of the season to clear out inventory.
It’s when you’ll see premium pieces marked down significantly – sometimes up to 40-60% off – because brands are clearing space for incoming fall and holiday lines. But I’d also recommend having a look during the Black Friday home deals and the Boxing Day sales too, for any remaining clearance discounts.
Now that you’re armed with all the key info and calendar dales to help you find the best patio furniture deals, I’d like to help you avoid any major outdoor furniture mistakes by pointing you toward my best outdoor furniture guide which is our little black book of the very best places to buy stylish pieces and everything you need to know about finding the right materials for your backyard seating, dining, and lounging sets.
